The Nolde Forest Environmental Education Center is the gateway into the 665 acres of Nolde Forest State Park where a forest of deciduous and coniferous trees awaits. Trails wind throughout the forest, offering a great escape for families or individuals just looking for a place to hike through nature. For a deeper look into this piece of untouched land, look into the listings of events that the center itself offers: there are many free programs that take place throughout the year. Located south of town, the forest is due west of Flying Hills Golf Club.
